Professional Projects

The projects below are an expression of my professional services in author marketing. I’ve tried to build a consultancy that allows me to unleash my creativity in a meaningful way and make an impact on the world. I hope my work with authors allows them to do the same.

Personal Projects

Creativity is like a warm fire for my soul, so I make a lot of stuff. I have so many ideas for things to create or make better. Most of the time they aren’t worth pursuing as a business, but they satisfy my curiosity about whether I could do it. These are some of the projects I’m most proud of.

Home That Hinson Life 08 08 2025 02 57 PM 1024x548
ThatHinsonLife.com was created to house resources we often wanted to share with people as we traveled the US for 6 years from 2018 to 2024. We created a youtube channel for this initially, but stopped keeping it updated after the first year. This was primarily because of the time involved in creating videos, and the fact that we also had a business to run. I still enjoy making videos, but I do it more for clients and ultimateauthor.co now.
good guys collective 08 08 2025 03 01 pm
Good Guys Collective – My son and I formed a brand to make apparel.
reciprocity – recipe sharing and meal planning made easy 08 15 2025 08 27 pm
Reciprocity – a meal planning app so we can share our go-tos with our friends.
Honorable mentions / Aspirational projects:

Chorezilla – an app I’m building for my kids to do their chores and earn points to redeem for certain bounties we set. The name was chosen as a constant reminder that my kids will hate this tool and complain about it as much as they complain about chores.

TastePerks – A hyper-local retail rewards app. I plan to write more about this as I move forward.
